Looks like a great topic, and right up my alley! Already thinking about how to write my article!

My fresh post is on dining in Takayama, but it’s part 2/2. I’ll give you both links; if you can only accept one, part 2 is more recent.

Great edition last month! Here’s my submission for November, on a restaurant where you catch your own fish!

you can’t get any fresher than that!
Here’s my post about Gindako Takoyaki. Gindako is all over Japan, probably the most popular takoyaki chain in Japan, and well deserved, too. Their delicious takoyaki have especially crisp shells.

I don’t expect anything less from you JA.
I’m just discovering this! Wish I knew about it earlier. What a great way to learn about Japan, meet new bloggers and share your posts.
My submission (hope I am doing this right, first timer) is about the best place to get pizza in Tokyo. I love eating here and it’s one of the places that I take friends who are traveling to Tokyo.

Here you go: http://haikugirl.wordpress.com/2011/11/16/dining-in-japan-kaiten-zushi Thanks for keeping this excellent Festa running! (^_^)v
Thank you Lee. What is great of dining in Japan is not only Japanese food or Japanese restaurant. In Tokyo especially, we have a plenty of choices in international cuisines and many of them are very high standard, close to the ones available in original locations. French, Italian, Chinese restaurants etc etc…I believe…those in Japan are the best after ones in their original countries.
This is one of the example. New Zealand cuisine!!

It’s been a long time since I last had the free-time or content to contribute to your wonderful J-Festa theme blog, but here’s my contribution. A small little izakaya with a difference in downtown Sapporo (Susukino). Ultra-Japanese decor – and a good feel. Hope you enjoy it – it’s made my wife and I very hungry preparing it.
Of course – it would have been good to have left a link (d’oh!)

Here’s my submission!

If I had known about last month’s J-Fest I would have participated. But I kept checking your main page and there were no links or information. Perhaps you might want to set up a page that gets updated each month so people have one place to look? Since this is the page that comes up in searches why not post a link to the new request for submissions on it? http://japingu.com/j-festa/
While I haven’t had some of the amazing dining adventures that others have had, I’ve had some pretty good meals. So I’m going to submit a post from just the other day of a meal I had a few days after the 3/11 disasters. It was something trying to find food in Tokyo since I was traveling and thus did not have a home with supplies.

I wish I had a post or two about my recent recipe testing for a new Japanese cook book that will be out soon from Elizabeth Andoh. Maybe if you have a theme that fits it in the future I will add this. It was very interesting.
Ah, I just looked at the main page and see you have now added links. I am glad you did that. My mistake for not seeing that before commenting just now.
Hi Julie, thanks for your continued J-Festa participation! You actually did lodge a published submission in October’s J-Festa. It was the Yoyogi Rockabillies piece. There hasn’t been a J-Festa publication since. Only a call for submissions for the November edition. I am glad that you caught it. That salmon on rice looked delicious!
Another option to consider is to subscribe at the link below so that you get an email notification whenever a call for submissions is published.

I decided to submit my most spectacular dining experience so far: sashimi so fresh that the fish’s head was still moving. The post contains a video of the moving head.
