J∙Festa is a blogging festival showcasing the best of Japan. Here you will find a regular round-up of inspiring articles, thought-provoking stories and arousing images prompted by the announcement of a Japan-related theme. Best of all, everyone is invited to participate!
Participating in a blog carnival is a good way to get your blog noticed by others. Submitting articles also helps to improve your link popularity by building backlinks as well as sending direct traffic to your site.

Submission Guidelines
If you would like to participate in the J∙Festa blog carnival, the following guidelines will help you ensure that your submission will get the airtime it deserves.
Submitted articles must:
- Be relevant to the announced theme
- Include a link back to the theme announcement post
- Be submitted prior to the announced deadline
- Contain no advertisements or solicitations of business
- Contain no non-English material unless translations are included
- Not have already appeared in a previous carnival edition
The carnival host has sole discretion in deciding which articles are included in a carnival publication.

1. Can I submit an old post?
Whilst fresh posts are preferred, old articles are acceptable. Please note however that fresh posts will be given priority when determining the rank of the article in the list of submissions in the carnival publication.
2. How do you determine the order of posts in the carnival publication?
There is absolutely no science in determining the order of posts in the carnival publication except that fresh articles generally have priority over older posts.
3. What is a fresh article?
A fresh article is an article that is dated on or after the date that the theme for that month is announced.
